Although at Profis we have not (yet) received requests from clients to translate onomatopoeic words— which we all use when chatting with friends online— we believe that it is always valuable to step outside the usual boundaries and bring cultures closer together through such efforts.
This project is called “Sound-Word Index” (an index of words that imitate sounds) and can be found on the website www.ohhhhhhhhh.co.uk.
